What is the CSA?

The Child Support Agency (CSA) helps mums and dads who aren’t together anymore look after their children.

We help these parents work out how much money is needed to take care of the children. This money is called 'child support'.

If you were never going out with the children’s other parent, you can still get child support from them to help raise the children.

CSA works hard to respect cultural protocols. Our staff are culturally trained so they can help you better. If you want to know more about child support call us on 131 272. You can also ask to speak to one of our Indigenous Officers.

Visiting communities

The Child Support Agency runs regular Community Information Sessions where you can talk to people from your community about services available to support separated families. Check out when we will be holding the next session in your community.
