What does CSA have to do with me?
I take care of the children - The parent who looks after the children most of the time gets child support to help them pay for things they need to raise the children, like food and clothes. The CSA calls these customers the receiving parent. I don't look after the children - The parent who isn't living with the children as much pays child support, which helps your children. The CSA calls these customers the paying parent. I look after the children but am not a parent - We can also help you if you look after the children but are not the parent, like an aunty, uncle or grandparent. The CSA calls these customers the non-parent carer. |
